I don't own an Ipad or an Iphone but this is pretty awesome news from ArenaNet. Basically they are saying that even when you are not playing Guild Wars 2, you can still communicate and chat with your guild mates or your friends in game using the Ipad, Iphone, or an Android phone. Can't join the raid but still want to stay in touch and check your guild's progress? now you can do that. Your friend at work and you want to show him the latest item you got? you can do that too. You can also for example help your friends if they're lost and guide them on the map from your phone. That's some Gandalf type stuff if you ask me. The article also hints at other stuff that will be possible (playing from your phone?!)
What is Guild Wars 2?
I can't wait for Guild Wars 2's release. If you don't know what Guild Wars is, its a MMORPG with NO monthly payments. Not only that, but the pvp in Guild Wars is awesome compared to other MMO's. The main drawback of the first Guild Wars was that everything was instanced. They have changed that in Guild Wars 2 and it will be more similar to your WoW where areas outside of towns are still open and only dungeons and raids are instanced.
